Placement Cell of Gargi College is an essential part of the college which has contributed immensely to its reputation and development. It is an organization dedicated to enhancing the skills of the students and consequently their career prospects. Students from different programmes make up the team, who work seamlessly under a committed group of faculty from various departments. 

Corporates like Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Company, Ernst and Young (E&Y), KPMG, The D.E Shaw Group, Accenture, PwC, Nation with Namo, Wipro, American Express, Deloitte India, Deloitte USI, NIIT, Genpact, Protiviti, Capital IQ, UrbanClap, Grofers, Zomato, Evalueserve, Inshorts, have been consistently recruiting from Gargi College for the past few years now. The highest package offered in the session 2023-24 was INR 21.05 LPA.
 

Being a member of Placement Cell ensures that the students are able to improve their communication skills, hold leadership roles and learn to balance academics with extracurricular activities.

Major functions of the Placement Cell are:

• Launching Career Guidance Initiatives like sessions by esteemed speakers from industry.
• Training on Aptitude Tests, Group Discussion, Personal Interviews, Guesstimates, CV Building, Case Preparations, etc. for internship, placement, higher education and competitive examinations (bank examinations, civil services examinations, etc.).
• Regular orientation sessions for first and final years.
• Liaisoning with industry and organising virtuals, offline and off-campus placements for final year students. 
• Floating competitive event opportunities conducted by industry to provide them a chance to stand out in the crowd. 
• Connecting with corporates, startups and NGOs for facilitating Internship opportunities for students of all years. 
• Organising skill based sessions after assessing the need of the students and linking with the expectations of the industry.
• Providing knowledge and awareness sessions with respect to higher education in India and outside India.
• Liaisoning and amplifying the opportunities provided by Central Placement Cell, University of Delhi. 
• Creating awareness related to social media presence for training and employability (for eg. LinkedIn), significance of digital footprint and related cyber security measures.
