Dr. Jyoti Mavi is an Assistant Professor at Department of Economics, Gargi College. She has been teaching for more than ten years. She did her PhD on 'Intellectual Property Rights and Developing Economies: An Experience of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry '. She teaches Introductory Macroeconomics, Introductory Microeconomics and Indian Economy. Her interest areas are Political Economy, International Economics and WTO.

Dr. Tanjot Singh, has completed her Ph.D in Economics from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2020. The title of her thesis is,'Economic Growth and Urbanization in India: An Analysis of Pre and Post Reform Period'. She is the Faculty Advisor of the Economics Association, Ecomantra, Co-convenor of Pathfinder Humanities, Co-convenor of Qed -The Debating Society of the College. She is also part of the team Ananda - The Wellness Centre of Gargi College. She has more than 12 years of work experience at Delhi University and has been teaching in Gargi College since July 2014.

Ms. Gunjan Tuteja holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Delhi University and Masters from panjab University . Her doctoral research is in the area of rural non farm economy. Her areas of interest include microeconomics and development economics .She has been teaching in delhi university for almost a decade now.In her stint as a teacher, she held various positions in the department. She is a believer in interactive methodology of teaching and feels her students do bring creative inputs to the table.

Ms. Garima Goel, holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from DaulatRam College, Delhi University and masters from Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University. Post that, she worked with Institute of Economic Growth on a Central Govt project titled Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana. She is currently persuing her phd in the field of Agricultural Economics. She has been teaching in Gargi College since 2019 and her areas of Interest are Macroeconomics, and Public Economics. She was the faculty advisor of the Economics Association, Ecomantra for 2 years (2020-22) and is now working in the Workload and the TimeTable committee.

Ms. Nishtha Sadana did her graduation in economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and masters from Delhi School of Economics. She went on to work for the corporate sector in the field of transfer pricing consulting and market research consulting for few years. Passionate about teaching, she joined University of Delhi and started her academic journey at Kamala nehru college for 8 years where she specialised in statistics and econometrics. She was an active participant in the corporate life of the college. She then joined Gargi college in Nov, 2023 on a permanent basis. She is pursuing her Ph. D in the field of role of financial development and FDI on renewable energy consumption.

Dr. Rachna Mathur has been teaching at Delhi University for more than 14 years. She qualified UGC NET Exam with a Junior Research Fellowship and was awarded her Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She also did an interdisciplinary research project under the Cluster Innovation Centre of Delhi University. She authored a book ‘Urban Green Space, Health Economics, and Air Pollution in Delhi’ published by Routledge India Group in 2021. Her book Received an award in the Business Category in the Green Literature Festival of India 2023. Her area of interest are Health Economics, Financial Economics, Money and Financial Markets, Macroeconomics, and Public Finance. She has many research papers published in national and international journals. She also worked as an e-content developer for PG Courses under MHRD, Govt. of India, and has done various faculty development programs and refresher courses from the University of Delhi.

Mr. Harikesh Maurya is a dedicated economist with a profound interest in various facets of economics, ranging from Microeconomics and Macroeconomics to Indian Economy, Economic Development, and Planning in India, along with a specialization in international economics. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. With a solid educational background, Mr. Harikesh holds an M.Phil. in Economics from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana, where his thesis explored the role of Microfinance in poverty eradication through Self-Help Groups, again focusing on PratapgarhDistrict. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Gargi College, Delhi University, since November 2023. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Professor (Adhoc) at LakshmibaiCollege, Delhi University, from August 2012 to December 2022, enriching the Economics Department with his expertise.

Mr Ravinder Kumar Meena holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University and has completed his Masters from Delhi School of Economics. He is currently pursuing his Ph.d from Centre for Economic studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University in the field of digital economy. He has a teaching experience of more than 4 years in Ramanujan College, Delhi University and has been teaching in Gargi college since September 2023. His research interests include game theory, health economics, public economics, and labor economics. He has also coordinated various Faculty development programme and Refresher courses under Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching. Prior to that he has worked as Senior Research Analyst in Institute of Economic growth and Research Assistant in Ashoka University. He has presented paper in various national and international conferences. He has extensively published papers in the area of health economics.
