Beled Association Asmi

About

ASMI is the association of the Department of Elementary Education. It is a student-elected body that represents the idea of 'self'. It stands for pride and self-respect. Asmi consists of a student body that organizes various events under the constant guidance of teachers.

The events include Fresher’s, Orientation, Heritage Walks, EduFest (Annual Departmental Fest), Farewell, and other workshops. These provide every member of the department with opportunities to hone their skills and present their skills.

The association also constitutes five societies: Art Wave, Dream Chord, Natkhat, Novelty, and Zeal.

    Asmi 23-24 hosted an insightful workshop on the 'Scope after B.El.Ed and Opportunities in the Realm of Psychology."!
    Graced by the presence of the amazing Ms.
    Kusum as our guest speaker, we explored exciting avenues and gained valuable insights. From unravelling the possibilities post-B.El.Ed to delving into the vast field of psychology, it was an enlightening experience for al. Thanks to everyone who joined us on this journey of knowledge and exploration!
     

    The Department of Elementary Education also welcomed Dr. Ameeta Mulla Watta, Chairperson and Executive Director
    Education, DLF Foundation Schools, Professor Vikas Gupta, Department of History, University of Delhi, Ms Anuradha Joshi, Principal of Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, and Professor Manisha Priyam, National institute of Educational planning and administration for the Panel discussion. We had an
    insightful panel discussion on Contemporary concerns in
    school education with the speaker Dr. Ameeta Mulla Watta, Professor Vikas Gupta, Ms Anuradha Joshi and Professor
    Manisha Priyam on February 1st, 2024 .Graced by the presence of the panelists as our guest speakers. We explored exciting avenues and gained valuable insights. It was an enlightening experience for al. Thanks to ASMI Members and one who joined us on this journey of knowledge and exploration!

    On 3rd April,2024, The Department of Elementary Education hosted a seminar featuring Dr. Arindam Bose from TISS. We extend our sincere appreciation to our professor, Dr. Chandra Tiwari, for orchestrating this insightful session for third and fourth - year students. Students got benefited from this enlightening session on current research directions in mathematics education. We delve into topics ranging from ethnomathematics to the creation of thought provoking questions and the practical application of textbook concepts.
