The vision of the department is to ensure as far as possible, that the students pursue further studies in the language and choose German as a career option.

The mission of the department is to inculcate in each student of the department good moral values and integritity, apart from ensuring, that they excel academically in the subject. Fluency in the foreign language is the basic, that every student should aim to achieve. And the students are constantly motivated and inspired to do better in the subject.
