Learning Resource Center (Library)

Library has the facility of reading room for students, a separate reading room for teachers, facility of Web-OPAC, UGC-InflibNet and access to DULS e-Resources also having separate library website URL - http://gargicollege.saraswatilib.com/ to facilitate users.

452 books were added till 31 ^st March, 2023 making a total of 76994 accessioned books in all. At present library has a collection of 381 CDs and have access to 48 periodicals and 10 newspapers.

The Library has access to Electronic Resource Management package for e-resources: User control provided by NLIST. The library subscribes to a large number of Electronics Resources through UGC-Infonet which includes e-resources (6000 + e-journals and 199500+ e-Books under N-LIST & 600000 e-Books through NDLI) and University of Delhi connectivity which includes Delhi University Library Systems’ Reference Sources, Bibliographic Sources, Statistical Sources and Full Text Sources.

A brief description of the given resources including Subject Coverage such as- Commerce, Education, History, Geography, Mathematics, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, English and others. Databases such as-J-STOR, American Chemical Society, LexisNexis, J-GATE, Manupatra, SSC Online and others. Document Categories such as- e-Books, e-Journals, e-Theses & e-NewsPapers etc. are available through the URL https://duelibrary.in/ available in the Library along with Computer Lab.

Till 31 ^st March 2023 approximately 222117 Books were consulted and loaned by users which includes consultation of ref. sec. and excludes use of loose issues of periodicals.

Approximately 50854 students visited library during the year till 31 ^st March 2023 which excludes faculty and non-teaching staff.
