About
The Northeast Society was established on 28th March 2018. The Northeast Society comprises of faculty members and students from all the Northeastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura and Nagaland. The Society organises Melange, an annual event consisting of academic lectures and student competitions, which all the students and academic fraternity look forward too.

Vision

Mission
The mission of the Northeast Society at Gargi College is to facilitate an inclusive environment that promotes cultural awareness, fosters academic excellence, and advocates for the rights of Northeastern students. Through educational initiatives, cultural events, and community engagement, the society aims to address the unique challenges faced by Northeastern communities and promote dialogue and understanding across diverse cultural backgrounds within the college.
