About

The Marketing Society, Gargi College aims to create a synergy of skills and increase the pool of knowledge pertaining to the field of marketing. Established in 2013, the society provides a platform where students can explore, learn and excel in the field of marketing. The society hosts seminars/lecture series, workshops, case-study competitions, networking opportunities, and webinars throughout the academic year with a heavy emphasis on developing useful practical skills that can be applied in everyday life. TMS is singularly committed to assisting the student community in all aspects of marketing, including coursework, projects, contests, and job placements. Students who are part of society go on to join several prestigious organisations across the globe.

Mission

“To create a sphere for practical learning and gain real-time exposure in the marketing and branding industry”.

The Marketing Society strongly believes in the holistic development of an individual which is ingrained in its mission. The society provides insights, knowledge and awareness related to marketing; and furnishes important skills and key networking opportunities. Through engaging events, educational initiatives, and real-world projects, it aims to prepare the members for successful careers, equipping them to make a positive impact in the marketing industry and society at large.

Society Activities

To spread knowledge about the domain of marketing, the society conducts workshops and seminars as part of its annual marketing week, EBULLIENCE and annual marketing fest, ALOHOMORA. The society conducts several competitions under the umbrella of these events to provide a holistic experience to students, which further helps to improve their hold on marketing as an essential domain. Apart from the events, an annual magazine on marketing is also published which covers a myriad of topics on several developments, under a particular theme that is carefully curated. It also disseminates cutting-edge insights in the realm of marketing through its Instagram and LinkedIn posts.
