The White Rose Club is a queer-straight alliance that functions under the Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, Gargi College, University of Delhi. WRC has been actively working since 2017 but received formal recognition in June 2020. White Rose Club aims to educate, raise awareness and sensitize people regarding LGBTQIA+ issues through various events and activities to make Gargi College a safe and inclusive space for Queer students. This society is a dedicated and inclusive group, committed to bridging the gap between LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. By fostering friendships and alliances, both at the intra and the inter- college communities.

The White Rose Club not only celebrates diversity but also champions inclusivity and acceptance within the college community. The aim of this club is to   zealously promote acceptance and empowerment, without judging the sexual orientations that people have, and the pronounce they choose to be identified with,  not just within Gargi College, but in the wider community as well.

To sustainably promote diversity and inclusivity based on the ethos of camaraderie among the student community, and sustain unity and joy.

Nazariya - Newsletter (2023-24)

The society (WRC) has committed and zealous members. The club has a lot of events planned for the upcoming academic year. Like in the last session, the members will continue with enriching discussions and Instagram Live sessions with influential personalities, and fostering understanding and empowerment among participants. The club will host its flagship event, 'Pride Parade' , shall continue with the thought-provoking 'Nukkad Nataks' and insightful 'Anokhi Charchas' to  provide a  platforms for exploring topics such as LGBTQ+ allyship and, sparking meaningful dialogue within the community.
